MIAMI MISSION

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS TRIP?
Students and Parents (completed 8th-12th at the end of the 2025-2026 school year) will come alongside Church Project in Miami to meet needs and share the love of Jesus through local ministry partners. We’ll also have the opportunity to serve during and participate in a Sunday gathering (Spanish speaking) with CP Miami.
HOW WILL WE SERVE?
Participants will volunteer with local ministry partners, help with CP Miami's fall festival, and serve in numerous ways during the Sunday gathering. The team will also spend time prayer walking the city and seeking the Lord for an obvious move of God in Miami.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?
7:45 AM - Devo Time
8:00 AM - Breakfast
8:45 AM - Teams leave for sites
12:00 PM - Lunch
3:30 PM - Finish serving for day
4:00 PM - Break and clean-up
5:00 PM - Leaders meeting
6:00 PM - Dinner
7:00 PM - Debrief time & worship (as group)
8:30 PM - Team time
HOW ARE THE ACCOMMODATIONS?
Participants will stay at the Florida Baptist Convention and Retreat Center in Miami. Rooms are dorm-style and basic but comfortable and clean. Towels and linens are provided.
WHAT'S THE WEATHER LIKE IN MIAMI?
Temperatures in October are consistently warm, ideal for beach activities and exploring the city.
- Average High: The daily high temperature averages around 83°F to 85°F.
- Average Low: Nighttime low temperatures typically hover around 72°F to 74°F.
- Humidity: The air starts to feel less muggy and oppressive than in the summer, with the chance of muggy conditions falling significantly throughout the month. The relative humidity averages around 73%.
TRAININGS:
Trainings are mandatory as they are crucial for preparing well for the ministry your team will be a part of. If you are unable to attend a training, please let the team lead know ahead of time.

Preparation
